Dear Journal,

Today, my life took an unpredictable turn as I was adopted by the local doctor Athyes, after he tragically took the lives of my parents. Although the loss weighs heavy on my heart, I cannot deny the relief I feel knowing that my parents, who were unkind to me, are no longer present. I know not if Athyes knows that I know what he's done, and perhaps that is for the best.

This new chapter of my life fills me with a mix of emotions - sadness, curiosity, and hope for a brighter future under the care of Dr. Athyes. Here's to a new beginning!
